Lower Back Pain Pregnancy Symptom

Is lower-back pain a symptom during early pregnancy?

My friend thinks she is pregnant and is having lower-back pain. She wants to know if lower-back pain is a symptom during early pregnancy. Thanks in advance!
I forgot to mention that her period isn’t due for 2 weeks.

Oh yeah! I’m not sure how common it is, but it was my earliest & worse symptom. I still have it & I’m 11 weeks. I didn’t think it started until later in pregnancy. I moved into my new apartment the weekend after 10/1 & I conceived on 9/22. I’m sure moving had a hand in it but I don’t normally get back pain when doing stuff (I’m more of a knee pain, foot pain person). I had to take a break & lay on the floor b/c it hurt so bad.

EDIT:::I also had cramps too until I was about 9 weeks. So back pain & cramps doesn’t always mean period. I’m wondering if MY back pain now is sciatica, but it may be too early for that.
