Lower Back Pain Medication
back pain/medication?
I have been havin’ back pain in my lower back, it causes me not to be able to sleep at night & it hurts so bad, I cant stand for long or anything.
what medications would help & would I have to go to the doctor to get them
& what side effects do they cause?
I feel for ya, dude. Take anything that’s anti-inflammatory for now. Use whatever feels better as a compress. I prefer cold but some people prefer warm. If you use cold, it has to stay on until your back feels numb. If warm, not so warm as to burn.
I think you’re better off going to the doctor. At least you’ll get a diagnosis and some flexaril or vicoden or both.
In the long run, though, consider finding a good acupuncturist or chiropractor. All doctors can do is surgery or pills. Both are dangerous.
Oh, and whatever you do, don’t sleep on your stomach. Side with knees bent is best.
